جامعة آل البيت AL al-Bayt Univ. An Overview On August 17, 1992, a Royal Decree was issued ordaining the establishment of AL al-Bayt University. As stated in the Royal Message, the University is to meet an urgent need for a new kind of University, one of that combines the requirements of scientific methodology in teaching and research, on the one hand, and the requirements of belief and clarity of vision on the other, thus, creating harmony between the rounded personality of the Muslim and his new environment. The University is also intended to uphold the principles of freedom, justice, tolerance, respect for other people's beliefs and faiths, and co-existence. Location and Climate AL al-Bayt University is located on the outskirt of the city of Mafraq, 65 Kilometers to the northeast of the capital Amman. the region has desert climate. It tends to be rather hot and dry during the day and in summer, and relatively cold during the night and in winter. The First International Conference On Applications of Phonetics and Phonology On Arabic November 4-6, 2008 Organized by The Faculty of Arts and Humanities at AL al-Bayt University دعوة للمشاركة انطلاقاً من فلسفة جامعة آل البيت ورسالتها الهادفة إلى العناية بالبحث العلميّ وخدمة الحضارة العربيّة الإسلاميّة؛ تقصد كلية الآداب والعلوم الإنسانية إلى عقد مؤتمرها الدوليّ الأول في اللّغويات، الذي يحمل عنوان: "الدرس الصوتي وتطبيقاته على اللغة العربية"، المزمع عقده في رحاب جامعة آل البيت بتاريخ 6-8 ذو القعدة 1429هـ، الموافق4- 6 تشرين الثاني 2008م. يسرّ كلية الآداب والعلوم الإنسانية دعوة الباحثين للمشاركة في هذا المؤتمر، وإنجاح مقاصده في خدمة اللغة العربية وقضاياها العلمية ومدّ الجسور العلمية بين الماضي والحاضر والمستقبل، واستنهاض همم الباحثين في العربية على اختلاف مشاربهم ومناهجهم. أهداف المؤتمر
محاور المؤتمر المحور الأوّل: إشكاليّات المصطلح الصوتيّ المحور الثّاني: الدرس الصوتيّ بين التراث العربيّ والمعاصرة المحور الثّالث: القراءات القرآنيّة والدرس الصوتيّ المحور الرّابع: الدرس الصوتيّ وأثره في اكتساب اللّغة وتعليمها وترجمتها. المحور الخامس: اللّهجات العربيّة والدرس الصوتيّ المحور السّادس: التعليل الصوتيّ للظواهر النحويّة. المحور السّابع: الصرف الصوتيّ المحور الثّامن: الفونيمات التركيبية وفوق التركيبية المحور التاسع: الدرس الصوتيّ الحاسوبيّ والتقنيّات المستحدثة، وتطبيقاتها على اللغة العربية المحور العاشر: الدرس الصوتي وعيوب النطق والكلام المحور الحادي عشر:الدرس الصوتيّ والصناعة المعجميّة المحور الثاني عشر: الأسلوبيّة الصوتيّة بين النظرية والتطبيق تعليمات للمشاركة أولاً: تقديم بحث ضمن المحاور المذكورة، على أن لا يتجاوز عدد الصّفحات المُقدّمة (30) صفحة. ثانياً: أن تكون المُشاركة جديدة في بابها لم يسبق نشرها أو تقديمها للنشر. ثالثاً: اتباع المنهج العلميّ في الكتابة بما يقتضيه من الدّقة والأمانة والموضوعيّة والتّوثيق الكامل. رابعاً: على الرّاغبين بالمشاركة ملء القسيمة وإرسالها إلى مُقرّر اللّجنة التّحضيّرية في موعد أقصاه 1/6/2008م. خامساً: يُرسل المشارك البحث مع الملخص مطبوعين ومُنقحين، وبطيهما قرص مرن (ديسك)، أو بوساطة البريد الإلكترونيّ، وذلك في موعد أقصاه 1/8/2008م. سادساً: تخضع الأبحاث المقدّمة للتحكيم الأوليّ لقبولها في المشاركة. سابعاً: تقوم اللجنة التحضيرية بالرّد على الراغبين في المشاركة بقبول البحث في موعد أقصاه 1/9/2008م. ثامناً: تُؤمن الجامعة المنامة والضّيافة للمشاركين في المؤتمر، من 3-7/11/2008م. تاسعاًً: يعرض المشارك خُلاصةً مُستصفاةً في جلسات المؤتمر. |
كلية الآداب والعلوم الإنسانية The Faculty of Arts and Humanities An Overview Originally part of the Faculty of Arts and Science, this faculty was established in the beginning of the academic year 2005/2006, as a result of the restructuring process. It comprises four academic departments: • Department of Arabic Language and Literature, which offers the Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Arabic Language and Literature. • Department of English Language and Literature, which offers the Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature. • Department of History, which offers the Bachelor's and master's degrees in History. • Department of Modern Languages, which offers the Bachelor's degree in French Language and Literature. Invitation It is our pleasure to invite you to participate in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities2008 First international Linguistics Conference on “ Applications of Phonetics and Phonology on Arabic”. This event will be held on the university campus from November 4-6 2008, organized and hosted by the Arts and Humanities Faculty at Al al-Bayt University. The conference has the following main objectives: Firstly, to handle issues related to phonetics and phonology Terms, and to shed a new light on the contributions of ancient Arab linguists to the terminology Pertaining to phonetics and phonology. Secondly, to focus on the phonological system of The Holy Quran, namely Quranic recitations via phonological studies. Thirdly, to tackle phonological and phonetic phenomena of old and modern Arabic dialects. Fourthly, to study phonetic and phonological changes of Arabic. Fifthly, to focus on the far reaching effects of rapid technological changes on the phonetic study of Arabic, and the resulting demands of computational phonetics applications on Arabic. Sixthly, to analyze the phonetic and phonological systems of Arabic, through investigating the correlation between these systems and other linguistic systems, such morphological, syntactic, and semantic, on one hand, and examining translation, language acquisition, and language learning problems, on the other. Seventhly, to explore the far reaching results of phonetics and phonology on applied linguistics fields, such lexicography, phono- stylistics, etc. We hope that this conference and similar conferences will enrich and bridge the Phonetic and phonological Arabic language studies among language studies. we take a great pleasure in inviting you to participate in making this event a success.
