The Faculty of Engineering, Department of Survey Engineering at Al-Bayt University, organized the activities of the open survey day in cooperation with Al-Moataz Company for Surveying Systems.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Moayad Shawakfeh, the Head of the Department of Survey Engineering, Dr. Akef Al-Faqra, the department heads and the faculty members of the College. Dr. Al-Shwaqafah stressed the importance of keeping pace with the developments in the field of space engineering sciences and their applications, pointing to the college's efforts to increase the number of teaching staff in the Department of Survey Engineering through appointment and dispatch to prestigious scientific universities.

In the course of the course, the head of the Department of Survey Engineering Dr. Akef the poor stressed the importance of organizing such events and workshops that enable students and interested to follow up everything that is new in the field of science and equipment.

Eng. Hanaa Abu Al-Wafa from Al-Moataz Company for Surveying Systems presented an explanation of the most important techniques and modern surveying equipments, stressing the pride of the company and its efforts to develop the students' practical capabilities.

At the end of the event, the Dean of the College inaugurated the exhibition which contains the latest equipment and techniques of the field and the definition of the mechanisms and uses. On the sidelines of the exhibition many cultural and engineering competitions participated by teams from different sections of the college and awards were distributed to the winning teams.
