ABSRACT The Semantic Impact of the Morphological Replacement of the t Sound into a heavy t in the Arabic Taf???l (linguistic molds or templates). Studying Samples from the Holy Koran The Research shows that there is a semantic relationship between the origins of words and words that have undergone a morphological replacement of the light t sound into a heavy t sound, focusing the attention on checking whether the new words have a wider range of meaning after experiencing the morphological replacement mentioned above. The research shows that the semantic relationship between the original words and the newly derived ones after the morphological replacement of the light t into heavy t could be summarized in the following three semantic results: 1. Keeping the same semantic meaning before and after the morphological replacement. 2. The semantic meaning develops. 3. The newly derived words experience a wider range of semantic meanings resulting from the linguistic magnification of replacing the light t with heavy t. Moreover, studying the semantic development phenomenon, the research suggests new propositions: Words that experienced a semantic expansion could be original rather than derived and that the semantic relationship between the derived and the derived from words might not be a semantic necessity as it is a morphological necessity by nature.
