The Level of Feeling of Guilt among Gifted Students in a Jordanian Sample at King Abdullah II Schools for Excellence
The study aimed at identifying the differnces in feelings of guilt among gifted students in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and identifying differences in feelings according to the age and sex variables. Where the number of students (120) students from the King Abdullah II School of Excellence in the province of Irbid, were randomly selected. To achieve the goal of the study, the researcher used the Henderson and Zambardo (2008) scale, which he translated into Arabic Shaker (2011). The scale was adapted to the Jordanian environment. The results of the study showed that the degree of means of feelings of guilt among the sample of the study was at an average level of estimation. The results showed no statistically significant differences in feelings of guilt according to the age variable. The results showed no statistically significant differences in feelings of guilt levels according to sex variable. In light of the findings of the present study, the researcher recommended the importance of having qualified teachers in the King Abdullah II School of Excellence to develop strategies and programs to reduce feelings of guilt.
