Organizational Structure
Energy Research Center consists of the following administrative units:
1 - Renewable Energy Division:
Objective: To conduct research and studies in the field of
alternative energy, particularly solar and wind energy and others, where
the focus will be on the following:
- Applications of energy alternatives, especially in remote areas
- Assessment of renewable energy sources
2 - Energy Management Division:
Objective: To conduct research and studies in the field of rational
use of electric power as well as the resettlement of management
techniques and energy saving, where the functions of the division
include the following:
- Energy conservation and management of electrical loads
- Energy technologies in buildings
- Improved power systems
3 - Energy Information Division:
Objective: To take advantage of computer technology and the Internet to
facilitate the storage and retrieval of information on the activities
of the Center's energy and saved in a database and linked with the
Internet, in addition to providing information services to various
sectors in these areas.
