President of Al al-Bayt University, Prof. Hani Al-Dmour, highlighted that the University is keen to advance the scientific, knowledge, cultural and civilizational level and produce knowledge related to sustainable development in an atmosphere of moderation to serve the nation and build societies of knowledge. This was during his meeting with the delegation of the Arab Academics and Scientists Union and signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Union in attendance of the Secretary-General, Mr. Ahmed Kamel. Prof. Al-Dmour indicated that the university supports the implementation of purposeful academic and training programs, which would contribute to the exchange of expertise as well as scientific and technical knowledge to push forward the academic and training programs in Jordanian universities.

Mr. Kamel, in turn, stressed that the Union strives to enhance the status of Arab academics and scientists in and out of the Arab world, encourage the spirit of cooperation, and highlight the capabilities of distinguished and creative people in scientific and knowledge fields at the regional and international level.
