Nusair sponsors the closing ceremony of the Third International Conference of the Faculty of Law at Al al-Bayt University

The President of Al al-Bayt University, Professor Osama Nusair, sponsored the closing ceremony of the Third International Conference of the Faculty of Law, which was held at the university under the title: "Artificial Intelligence: A Legal Vision Towards a Sustainable Future," with the wide participation of academics, researchers, and specialists from a number of sisterly Arab countries, and with distinguished organization that lasted for two days.


This conference, which was inaugurated under the generous patronage of the Prime Minister, comes within the framework of the supreme royal directives on the need to keep pace with the rapid developments in the field of artificial intelligence and its legal and societal implications.


The President of the Conference and Dean of the Faculty of Law, Professor Samer Dalal'a, expressed in his speech his sincere thanks and appreciation to all participants, supporters, and those in charge of the success of this scientific event, stressing the importance of strengthening academic cooperation between Arab universities and exchanging experiences in this vital field.


The final statement of the conference included a number of recommendations, most notably: the need to employ artificial intelligence in achieving the goals of sustainable development, review relevant legislation, respect human rights and dignity in light of digital transformation, include specialized courses in artificial intelligence within university curricula, and call for the enactment of legislation that keeps pace with this development.


At the conclusion of the ceremony, the sponsor of the ceremony, Professor Osama Nusa​​ir, President of the University, presented certificates of appreciation to the participants and organizers, where the participants from inside and outside Jordan expressed their appreciation for the university's efforts in organizing this conference, and the distinguished scientific environment it provided that contributes to supporting research and innovation in the fields of artificial intelligence and law.
