Under the auspices of the President of the University, Al al-Bayt closes its Football Fives Championship

Under the patronage of the University President, Prof. Hani Al-Dmour, the university faculty football fives championships/ “male students”- final were concluded. The competitions were held in the gymnasium by the Deanship of Student Affairs/Department of Sports Activity in an atmosphere of brotherhood and strong competition. The team of the Faculty of Science beat its counterpart of the Faculty of Engineering with a score of (0/1) in the final match. 
The Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Sayel Al-Sarhan, said that organizing such tournaments increases the chances of acquaintance and honorable sports competition and enhances the spirit of cooperation, brotherhood bonds and teamwork among university students.
Assistant Director of the Sports Activity Department, Championship Coordinator, ‘Adly Al-Dalqamouni, thanked the deans who contributed and supported this sporting event by urging and encouraging their students to participate in such championships.
At the end of the tournament, the winning team was offered the championship cup and gold medals by the President of the University, in addition to the silver and bronze medals to the other teams that came in second, third and repeated third places.
This was in attendance of the Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Omar Al-Ateen, the Dean of the Faculty of Science, Prof. Ahmed Al-Jamal, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Sa’ad Al-Ayyash, the Vice Deans, the Director of Sports Activity Nasser Al-Khawaldeh, the Director of Expatriates, Abdel Halim Abu Dalbouh, the Director of Cultural Activity, Mohammad Al-Husban, the Director of the Center for Women’s Studies, Dr. Sana Al-Zyoud and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Earth and Environmental Sciences, Dr. Salam Al-Dabsha. Dr. Marah Al-Safadi, the Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Business for Student Affairs, was also honored with a shield for attending the tournament.
It is worth noting that 18 teams representing the various faculties of the university participated in this tournament, in which the students were highly responsible and disciplined with fair play and high sportsmanship.​​
