The establishment of the Faculty represents the culmination of Al al-Bayt University's extensive experience in technical education programs, and a response to the urgent need for specialized programs that combine solid academic knowledge with advanced practical skills, amid the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the rapid digital transformation witnessed globally. The Faculty is not a departure from academic traditions, but rather an integration of authenticity and modernity, and of basic sciences and engineering applications, serving as a bridge between the classroom and the labor market.

The Faculty of Technical Education comprises four specialized and harmoniously aligned academic departments:

1. Department of Engineering and Smart Systems, which includes the following programs:
   - Energy Technology Program (Renewable Energy and Electrical Control)
   - Smart Building Engineering Program (Building Design and Automated Control)
   - Internet of Things (IoT) Program and Industrial Applications
   - Road Surveying and Quantity Calculation Program (Applied Civil Engineering)
   - Smart Agriculture Technology Program (Automated Irrigation and Environmental Control)

2. Department of Allied Medical Professions, which includes:
   - Associate Nursing Program (Clinical and Technical Nursing Skills)
   - Radiology Techniques Program (Medical Diagnosis and Imaging)

3. Department of Administrative and Financial Sciences, which includes:
   - Supply and Supply Chain Management Program
   - Physical and Health Education Program (Sports Facility Management and Fitness)

4. Department of General Requirements, which focuses on teaching common and foundational courses in basic sciences, languages, and communication skills shared by all departments of the College, without including independent specialized programs.

What distinguishes the Faculty's programs is their focus on intensive practical training, where students spend no less than 40% of their study plans in laboratories, workshops, and field training. Moreover, most programs integrate internationally recognized professional certificates into graduation requirements.

The College is staffed by a select group of academics with both academic and practical experience. Many hold degrees from prestigious international universities and have research contributions in the fields of applied technology and engineering. The faculty also includes technical supervisors with extensive industrial experience.

The number of students enrolled in its first year (First Semester 2025/2026) reached approximately 830 students, reflecting the high demand for these specializations that open wide career horizons in the fields of energy, smart construction, digital transformation, healthcare, and logistics management.

The Faculty seeks to build strategic partnerships with the industrial sector, hospitals, and technology companies. Several training and cooperation agreements have already been signed with leading institutions, and the College is participating in the preparation of applied research projects funded by European Union programs and the Ministry of Higher Education.
