Al al-Bayt University is committed to promoting scientific research that supports the development of Mafraq Governorate in particular, and Jordan as a whole. This commitment is reflected in the establishment of specialized research centers across various scientific fields. Among the most prominent of these is the Center for Environmental, Water, and Energy Research, established in 2009, which stands as one of the leading research centers in Jordan.

The Center for Environmental, Water, and Energy Research at Al al-Bayt University is distinguished by its advanced scientific laboratories and state-of-the-art technological equipment, enabling it to effectively support research, industrial, and service sectors, as well as researchers from both within Jordan and abroad.

The Center comprises a specialized research and technical team, along with advanced scientific instruments and state-of-the-art laboratories for conducting laboratory analyses of water, wastewater, rocks, minerals, and organic materials.

The Center also collaborates with faculty members and postgraduate students at the university, as well as with researchers from outside the institution, to conduct innovative

scientific research in the fields of water, environment, and energy. Furthermore, the Center strives to attract scientific and technical support from research-funding institutions both within Jordan and internationally and actively pursues the signing of various research and service agreements and memoranda of understanding.

At the Center for Environmental, Water, and Energy Research, we believe in the importance of supporting applied scientific research and serving researchers and postgraduate students in various scientific fields.
