The Arabic relative pronoun(?alladi )(who) A comparative study Mahmoud Mohammad Aldeeky A study was done of the origin and development of Arabic relative pronoun (?alladi ) by examination of internal structure of the pronoun including its phonetic and morphological elements, and by searching in other Semitic languages for phonetic elements common to relative pronoun and demonstrative pronoun in Arabic and other Semitic languages .A study was also done of Arabic dialects , including both standard Arabic and colloquial ,and what has been recorded on relative pronouns by Arabic old grammarians and Orientalists. The researcher has discussed the views of Arab grammarians and the views of the Orientalists and concluded that the Orientalists is not different from what Arabic old grammarians said. He concluded by the end of the study to be linked (?alladi ) over three stages to be settled in the Arabic eloquent picture that is by having been linked exclusion ( du ) that appears in the (?ay?)dialect.
