Transforming Jordan's Financial Landscape: The Fintech Evolution Towards Inclusive Digital Payments
This study investigates how financial literacy, perceived trust, and the regulatory environment influence fintech inclusion in Jordan. A questionnaire was used to obtain data from 181 respondents. Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) was used to evaluate the research model and test hypotheses. Path analysis results indicate that perceived trust, financial literacy, and the regulatory environment significantly influence fintech inclusion. This underscores the importance of trust in promoting financial inclusivity globally, recognizing its crucial role in driving fintech adoption. Additionally, the study highlights the pivotal role of financial literacy in enabling effective engagement with digital financial services. The findings also emphasize the regulatory environment's significant role in fintech inclusion, consistent with existing literature, which acknowledges regulations as either facilitators or barriers to fintech growth.
