The first meeting of the Supreme Advisory Committee of the Center for Women's Studies at Al al-Bayt University

 

President of Al al-Bayt University, Prof. Hani Al-Dmour, chaired the first meeting of the Supreme Advisory Council of the Center for Women's Studies at Al al-Bayt University, in attendance of Her Excellency BodourBintAbd al-Ilah and members of the Council. He affirmed that we are all concerned with the great role that women play in assuming great responsibilities to serve and develop local communities in all fields. He highlighted the importance of this partnership in providing blood, consultations and services required for the success of the Center's work and achieving its goals.

Dr. Al-Dmour indicated that the existence of such a center in a demographic area is clear evidence of the qualitative shift and development witnessed by the university, explaining the role of the media in raising awareness among local communities.

Her Excellency BodourbintAbd al-Ilah expressed her thanks and appreciation to the President of the University for setting up this center and the initiatives by networking with charitable societies in the field, which indicates the interest and support of Al al-Bayt University to serve and develop women and local communities.She pointed out that, with the support of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein, may God protect and preserve him, women were able to participate in the decision-making and in all positions, having distinguished roles that everyone witnesses.

Director of the Center at Al al-Bayt University, Dr. Bayan Al-Madi, reviewed the establishment, goals and activities of the center and the plans set for carrying out training and rehabilitation projects and programs so that women can play their role to the fullest. She indicated the importance of the center's advisory council to support future plans, according to the center's vision that was developed in this regard.

The Council members discussed the most prominent topics, programs and projects related to women, the efforts of Al al-Bayt University in networking with national institutions and local communities, and future plans to establish programs aimed at serving women and the required local development.

The meeting was attended by the Vice President for Planning and Development, Prof. Bassam Al-Mahasneh, the Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Prof.. Omar Al-Attein, and Council members Lisa Al-Dughmi, Dr. Amal Al-Kharouf, Dr. Mahmoud Abu Oweida, Dr. Abeer Al-Dababneh, Dr. Amani Al-Sarhan, Eng. Duaa Oweidat, Ansaf Al-Hunaiti, Madallah Al-Khalidi, HussamGharaibeh, lawyer Ibrahim Al-Jabour, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Shabib, Dr. Maysoon Al-Zoubi, and Dr. Farid Khazaleh.​
