The new Board of Trustees of Al al-Bayt University holds its first session
The Board of Trustees of Al al-Bayt University held its first session at the university building/Amman, chaired by , Prof. Ali Mufleh Al-Mahafdah , and the President of the University, Prof. Hani Al-Dmour, in attendance of the members of the Board, including: Prof. Khaled Mohammad Odeh Al-Tawarah, Prof. Khalaf Abdulaziz Al-Akhleif Al-Masaeed, Prof. Abdullah Mohammad Bakhit Abu Hamad, Prof. Lama Adel Mohammad Awawdeh, Mr. Sherif Tawfiq Hamad Al-Rawashdeh, Mr. Abdullah Assem Abdullah Ghosheh, Mrs. Dima Nidal Munir Sukhtian, Mr. Aref Ahmed Marzouk Al-Jaraydah, Eng. Ahmed Marawan Salem Al-Abdallat, Eng. Saleh Musa Hilal Al-Ghwairi, and Mr. Zayed Awad Muqbel Al-Samiran.
The Chairman welcomed the members of the Board, and read out the statement of the Royal Decree of their appointment. After the members had introduced themselves, they reviewed the currently in force Jordanian Universities Law No. 18 of 2019, and discussed the tasks and powers of the Board under the provisions of this law.
President of the University, in turn, welcomed the new members and congratulated them all on the issuance of the Royal Decree to appoint them, and then answered some of the members' inquiries regarding the administrative and financial situation of the University.
The chairman and members asked Dr. Al-Dmour to submit a report at the next meeting showing the university's financial situation. The meeting ended with defining the Boards’ work mechanism and the dates of its sessions in accordance with the applicable Jordanian Universities Law. The secretariat of the session was held by Mrs. Kholoud Shdeifat.
