The Programming Department develops, computerizes, and automates administrative procedures and works at the university to raise the speed, efficiency, and accuracy of the completion of administrative and academic work at the university. And warehouses, student fees, websites ... etc. These systems and electronic services have effectively contributed to facilitating the students, the teaching and administrative staff, and the completion of work quickly and efficiently. In addition to the processes of developing and adding new electronic services, the department also operates, improves, and sustains the work of the electronic systems and services that have been developed, in addition to providing technical support and training for cadres working on these systems.

About the department:

The Programming Department began as a division within the Computer Center under the name of the Analysis and Programming Division since the establishment of the Center in 1994, and due to the development of the information technology sector and the increase in demand for computerizing academic and administrative procedures, the division was developed into a department in 2013. Its goal was and still is to computerize and develop administrative and academic procedures at the university to shorten effort and time and to enhance the university's goals. The department’s work starts from the first step in analyzing the problems in the various departments and departments of the university and finding and suggesting the best computerized solutions that are fully developed and programmed within the programming department and activate them in a way that increases the level of performance in the most effective and easy way. The work of the department continues to complement the continuous follow-up and development of these systems and electronic solutions. The department also develops, creates, and updates the websites of the university's faculties and centers and its administrative units.

The department consists of two main sections:

  • Portals and Websites Division.
  • Programming and Analysis Division.
