Achievements Accomplished During the Academic Year (2025/2026):
* More than **42 tenders** were advertised in local newspapers.
* More than **88 meetings** were held by the Purchasing Committees established pursuant to the **Government Procurement System No. (8) of 2022**.
* More than **17 award and financial disbursement decisions** were processed.
* Recommendations were made to form more than **52 technical committees** for the solicitation, review, and evaluation of bids, as well as for the receipt of works related to awarded tenders.
* All tender files dating from **2009 through 2026** were archived.
* Funding was secured from the **Governorate Council** to support the **Entrepreneurship and Innovation Support Project**, including the purchase of **100 computers**.
* Funding was secured from the **Governorate Council** for the **development and rehabilitation of the Data Center**, including the supply of a **tape library and backup storage unit**.
* Funding was secured from the **Governorate Council** for the **rehabilitation of the road between the Southern Gate (Gate No. 3) and Al-Abrar School**.
* Procedures were initiated to obtain approval from the **Saudi Fund for Development** to finance the **second phase of the construction of the College of Nursing** within the university campus.
* Participation in a **training course on the use of the Electronic Procurement System**, held at the **Government Procurement Department** from **Sunday, 15 February 2026, to Wednesday, 18 February 2026**, with a total of **25 training hours**.
