As part of student activities aimed at promoting intellectual and sports culture among university students, the Deanship of Student Affairs / Department of Sports Activity organized an internal chess tournament for both genders on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, with wide participation from university students, in order to select a team to represent the university in internal and external tournaments.

Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Alimat, said that the students' participation in the chess tournament aims to develop thinking and decision-making skills and enhance the spirit of competition among students, pointing out that such activities contribute to building the student's personality and spreading the values ​​of cooperation and perseverance that the university always seeks to instill in the hearts of its students.

Third place: Ibrahim Mustafa Hussein Al-Hawamdeh

Females

First place: Saja Muhammad Ramiz Hikmat

Second place: Samah Ghaleb Muhammad Abu Al-Rub

Third place: Maya Khader Jawdat Al-Nouna
