The Deanship of Student Affairs, Department of Cultural and Social Activities, in cooperation with the Civil Defense Directorate, organized an awareness lecture entitled "Safe Use of Heaters," which dealt with the risks of using heating appliances during the winter and ways to prevent them, how to safely use heating appliances, and how to behave properly during a fire. This lecture aims to raise awareness and safety among university students and promote preventive behavior in our daily lives. During the workshop, a detailed explanation was given about a model of a simulated hazard house, and some medical examinations were conducted.

Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Alimat, stressed the safe use of heaters by following the safety guidelines issued by the Civil Defense and Public Security, ensuring good ventilation, not leaving heating appliances on while sleeping or leaving the house, and constantly checking them to avoid carbon monoxide leaks or fires, especially with increasing warnings after the recent tragic accidents.

Mr. Muhammad Basbous, Director of the Department of Cultural and Social Activities at the university, prepared and coordinated this lecture.
