Al al-Bayt University's Faculty of Technical Education Organizes a Lecture for its Students "On National Service as a National Responsibility and Building the Future"


On the occasion of Jordanian Flag Day, Al al-Bayt University, through the Faculty of Technical Education and in cooperation with the Department of University Education in the Directorate of Education, Military Culture, and the Arab Army, organized a lecture for its students entitled "National Service as a National Responsibility and Building the Future," in the Al-Bakhit Amphitheater at the Faculty of Business, in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Dr. Majed Ibrahim, faculty and administrative staff, students of the faculty, and the family and head of the Military Science Division at the university, Captain Feryal Al-Qallab.


During his welcoming speech, Dr. Majed Ibrahim affirmed the university's welcome of this event, which reflects the extent of belonging and loyalty to the Hashemite leadership and the Arab Army institution on Flag Day, indicating that the university is a station of science and knowledge that proceeds on the light, preserves allegiance with loyalty, builds elevation with belonging, and faces challenges with the leader.


During the lecture, Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Nader Al-Hammad from the Directorate of Military Information discussed the importance of national service as a royal Hashemite national directive that establishes the values of belonging and loyalty to the nation and enhances the spirit of responsibility among university youth, in addition to the role of the national service project in empowering Jordanian youth to build capabilities and skills and prepare a generation capable of facing challenges and contributing effectively to the national development process.


Lecturer Al-Hammad also reviewed the national service project as an investment in the nation's youth through the programs it offers, the goals it sets, and the message it conveys to the targeted group of the nation's children. Al-Hammad also explained that it is belonging, responsibility, citizenship, commitment, discipline, qualification, and defense, stressing that this experience represents an important station in building the personality of young people and preparing them for the labor market, noting the power of the word in influencing society, and alerting to the need to preserve the homeland and enhance national identity, indicating the dimensions of national service represented in the strength of the state.


At the conclusion of the event, which was presented and moderated by Ms. Mais Al-Amoush, a film was shown summarizing the training period, and an interactive discussion took place between the attendees and the lecturer on the subject of the lecture, where students' inquiries were answered, and opinions were exchanged on the importance of national service and its role in building the future of the country.
