A specialized workshop titled Promising Cyber Opportunities
The university organized a specialized workshop for its graduating students entitled "Promising Cyber Opportunities."
The Al-Hussein Bin Abdullah Faculty of Information Technology organized a specialized workshop entitled "Promising Cyber Opportunities" in cooperation with the Mithaq Al-Ilm Academy for Training and Education and the Future Skills Fund, funded by the German government and the German Development Bank. The workshop targeted students majoring in cybersecurity who are expected to graduate, with the aim of introducing them to the Future Skills Fund programs and providing them with opportunities to pursue education and vocational training without financial obstacles. The workshop was held in the college hall.
At the beginning, Engineer Muhammad Yunis Al-Khawaldeh from Mithaq Al-Ilm Academy for Training and Education spoke and thanked the university and the college for providing the opportunity and giving the academy space to cooperate in serving its students and what lessons can be learned from this workshop.
The trainer, Nisreen Al-Rawashdeh, from the Future Skills Fund, also reviewed the advantages of the program, which is full funding from the German government, in addition to specialized training provided by practicing trainers in Jordan and abroad. She also focused on the topics that are of interest to students, including the job opportunities available in the field of cybersecurity and what this program provides, the skills required for the labor market, the supported training paths, and how to benefit from financing and qualification programs. She also pointed out the importance of technical and vocational education and what projects this training adds as experiences for graduates, in addition to the courses provided by the Fund in creating distinguished job opportunities.
Assistant Dean Dr. Mahmoud Al-Jawarneh affirmed the university's interest in its graduates by informing them of all the useful projects and programs that create different and diverse job opportunities for them, explaining that the real competition in the labor market depends on the experiences and courses the graduate holds in their resume after graduation.
