Al al-Bayt University participates in a workshop to support researchers and introduce the Al-Manaseer Award for Research and Innovation at the University of Science and Technology.

Al al-Bayt University participated in the specialized workshop organized by the Deanship of Scientific Research at the University of Science and Technology, in cooperation with the Ziad Al-Manaseer Award for Scientific Research and Innovation, which aimed to introduce researchers to the award and the mechanism for applying for it, in order to support innovation and enhance research mobility in Jordanian universities.


Al al-Bayt University was represented in this event by both the Dean of the Faculty of Science, Professor Ahmed Abu Zeitoun, and the Dean of the Faculty of Technical Sciences, Professor Majid Ibrahim, whose participation came as an affirmation of the University's keenness to enhance its research presence, support researchers and students, and learn about the best practices related to preparing competitive research projects.


The workshop addressed the basics of participation and the criteria for selecting projects, in addition to explaining how to fill out applications and the steps necessary to apply, which contributes to enabling researchers and students to prepare integrated projects that meet the requirements of the award.


The event witnessed wide participation from universities and academic institutions in the north of the Kingdom, where a group of researchers and representatives of deanships of scientific research participated, along with a number of students and those interested in developing creative projects, especially in the fields of agriculture and food security.


Representatives of Al al-Bayt University affirmed the importance of this workshop in promoting a culture of research and innovation, and opening the way for entrepreneurial ideas to compete for prestigious national awards that support excellence and creativity in various scientific fields.


Al al-Bayt University's participation comes within its continuous efforts to strengthen partnerships with institutions supporting scientific research, and to provide a stimulating environment for researchers to contribute to finding innovative solutions to national challenges in various sectors.
