College of Technical Education hosts experts in technical sciences in the era of leadership
The Faculty of Technical Education hosted specialists to talk about technical sciences in the era of entrepreneurship, with the participation of Dr. Samer Mutlaq Al-Ayasrah, Director of the Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship Center at Amman Arab University, and Engineer Raneen Al-Ali, Product Manager at Esirtent Company, in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Majed Al-Harahsheh, faculty members, students, and the faculty family, in the Prince Al-Hassan bin Talal amphitheater at the Faculty of Engineering.
Al-Ayasrah began his speech about successful experiences in entrepreneurship and innovation in Jordan at the national level, reviewing performance experiences and indicating the types of countries that rely on innovation in the national economy. Al-Ayasrah added that the collective mind and thinking are necessary to search for available investment and entrepreneurial opportunities, pointing out that the method of creative thinking is a necessity, linking students with field experts and enhancing their practical skills in line with the university’s vision in supporting creativity and providing a stimulating environment for continuous learning and development.
Engineer Raneen Al-Ali, Product Manager at Esirtent Company, referred to her personal experience in artificial intelligence and its impact on technical sciences, its importance and its impact on programming, how it has become a pillar in entrepreneurship, and how to build computer systems parallel to human intelligence. She also explained the opportunities of artificial intelligence and its applications in Jordan through projects and businesses in various fields and what are the necessary applications for that, and Al-Ali added the ethical challenges in the uses of artificial intelligence.
In his speech during the event, Professor Dr. Majed Al-Harahsheh, Dean of the Faculty of Technical Education, stressed the importance of promoting a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation among the faculty’s students, pointing out that the rapid developments in technical sciences and artificial intelligence require keeping pace with global changes and leading influential entrepreneurial projects.
The lecture, which was attended by the college’s students and presented and managed by Dr. Yasmine Madi from the technical college staff, included an extensive dialogue in which the lecturers answered students’ questions and inquiries.
