Representing the President of Al al-Bayt University, Professor Osama Nusie​r, the Vice President for Financial Affairs and Investment, Professor Marai Bani Khaled, inaugurated the Open Scientific and Medical Day for the Department of Life Sciences, in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Science, Professor Ahmed Abu Zaitoun, his deputy, Professor Khaled Al-Khazaaleh, and the Head of the Department of Life Sciences, Dr. Taghleb Al-Dheeb.

The Dean of the Faculty of Science, Professor Ahmed Abu Zaitoun, affirmed that the role of the college is not limited to lecture halls but extends to building a productive generation that embraces creativity and creates opportunities, pointing out that this scientific day marks the beginning of future achievements and aims to develop a spirit of teamwork among students and introduce them to the latest developments in the fields of life sciences and technology, in partnership with local community institutions and in embodiment of the university's mission.

For his part, the Head of the Department of Life Sciences, Dr. Taghleb Al-Dheeb, recited a poem of pride and recognition of the educational journey in Jordan under the reign of His Majesty King Abdullah II, stressing his continuous support for Jordanian universities and explaining that the scientific day included a presentation of the most important developments in the fields of botany, microbiology, zoology, and human physiology, with the participation of a selection of the department's students and a number of health and medical institutions.

Sarah Specialized Hospital, Dr. Tala Nutrition Center, Jordan Eye Center for Optics, MedLabs Laboratories, Dr. Alaa Al-Husban Pharmacy, Areej Al-Mafraq Pharmacy Dr. Alaa Al-Saadi, Rosemary Pharmacy Dr. Nahoun Al-Ziyoud, Medical Distributor Company Dr. Rowan Abu Rizk, Sebamed Company, and Good Day Company participated in the activities of the scientific day.

At the conclusion of the scientific day, Professor Marai Bani Khaled and the Dean of the Faculty of Science presented certificates of appreciation to the participants and coordinators of the scientific day, the Head of the Department of Life Sciences, Dr. Taghleb Al-Dheeb, and the teacher, Amna Basbous.
