The Head of the Marketing Department at the Vocational Training Corporation Lectures at Al al-Bayt University


The Faculty of Technical Learning at Al al-Bayt University hosted the Head of the Marketing Department at the Vocational Training Corporation, Engineer Ahmed Awad, to talk about "Professional Entrepreneurship and its Role in Providing Job Opportunities for Youth" from Certificate to Skill - The Vocational Training Corporation's Vision for Future Jobs.


He spoke about the Economic Vision Initiative, which aims to align the outcomes of vocational and technical education and training with the needs of the labor market, strengthen the infrastructure for vocational and technical training, implement the standards of centers of excellence, the digital transformation of vocational and technical education and training, improve the governance model for education, training, and vocational and technical fields, in addition to enhancing the implementation of the National Qualifications Framework, rehabilitating vocational and technical education and training staff, and raising their efficiency.


He pointed out that the engine of entrepreneurship and innovation is represented in preparing talents that keep pace with the requirements of the future, resources, and institutions capable of accelerating Jordanian economic growth and quality of life goals.


He added that future trends in providing job opportunities for young people are focused on cross-border digital job opportunities such as the World Bank and international companies, professional entrepreneurship programs, and e-commerce.


Engineer Awad also affirmed that the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Jordan is witnessing remarkable and increasing growth with direct royal attention to its development, supported by government efforts to encourage young people to establish their own sustainable projects, and with the participation of business incubators, investors, educational and training institutions, and non-governmental organizations.


For his part, the Dean of the Faculty of Technical Learning at the University, Dr. Majed Ibrahim, affirmed the necessity of giving technical learning utmost importance and working to invest and employ artificial intelligence tools and link them to the needs of the labor market and transform the challenges facing job seekers into real opportunities to enter the labor market.


The meeting was attended by a large number of heads of departments, faculty members, and students.
