Awareness lecture on the impact of criminal restrictions on granting security approvals
In line with Al al-Bayt University's vision of promoting legal awareness among its students, the Deanship of Student Affairs / Department of Cultural and Social Activities, in cooperation with the Community Police and the Criminal Information Department, organized an awareness lecture entitled "The Impact of Criminal Restrictions on Granting Security Clearances."
In his speech, Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Ahmed Al-Alimat stressed that awareness of regulations and laws is the main pillar for protecting the future of graduates, stressing that the university seeks to arm its students with knowledge that avoids them any legal obstacles that may affect their career path.
For his part, lecturer Captain Amr Al-Sarhan reviewed precise topics on the nature of the work of the Criminal Information Department, explaining the direct consequences of criminal restrictions and cases on future opportunities, especially when requesting security approvals for the purposes of recruitment or obtaining "non-conviction" and "good conduct" certificates. Al-Sarhan pointed out that this meeting embodies the Public Security Directorate's policy of awareness openness to higher education institutions.
The lecture, which was supervised by the Director of the Department of Cultural and Social Activity, Mr. Muhammad Basbous, included an interactive dialogue during which specialists answered students' questions about the mechanisms of legal rehabilitation and the conditions for the integrity of the criminal record.
