The College of Business holds an expanded meeting with representatives of academic departments and faculty members in preparation for AACSB accreditation.

In preparation for obtaining global AACSB accreditation, the College of Business held an extensive meeting with representatives of academic departments and faculty members of the college.


The Dean of the College of Business, Professor Turki Al-Fawaz, opened the meeting, clarifying the tasks and duties required of faculty members in the College of Business to obtain AACSB academic accreditation, in the presence of faculty members of the college, in the Al-Bakhit amphitheater at the College of Business.


Dr. Al-Fawaz stressed the full commitment to all instructions to obtain this accreditation due to its qualitative, academic, and scientific addition at the level of international universities.


Professor Muhammad Nasser Hamdan affirmed that academic accreditation represents the cornerstone of developing higher education institutions and enhancing their credibility internationally. Universities obtaining accreditation such as AACSB is not just a certificate, but rather evidence of the institution's commitment to the highest standards of quality in teaching, scientific research, and administrative leadership, which is positively reflected in the outputs of education and students' readiness for the requirements of the global labor market.


Dr. Omar Al-Amarain also reviewed the most prominent accreditation requirements and mechanisms for their implementation within the college, stressing the importance of collaborative work between academic and administrative departments to achieve standards of quality and academic excellence, which contributes to the development of academic programs, improvement of learning outcomes, and elevation of the level of institutional performance.


Dr. Abdullah Al-Zoubi referred to the university's previous experience and how to determine what has been achieved and what is required of a faculty member to adopt a clear methodology for study plans in a way that reflects on the main goal and is compatible with colleges that have obtained global quality and accreditation, pointing to the tangible impact.


Dr. Osama Al-Rawashdeh from Qassim University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia explained via Zoom what is the required benefit of accreditation and its reflection on the university, college, and local community.


The workshop, which was presented and managed by Dr. Safaa Ahmed, explained during it the most prominent axes and main points for obtaining AACSB.
