Al-Ahliyya Amman University obtains the first international institutional accreditation in its history with a rating of "Outstanding Institution" from the British ASIC.
Al al-Bayt University obtained international institutional accreditation from the Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges and Universities (ASIC) in the United Kingdom, with a rating of "Premier Institution," in a first-of-its-kind achievement for the university as an integrated institution.
The accreditation was granted following a comprehensive evaluation process conducted by the body, whereby the university received "Commendable Grades." The evaluation included eight main axes that addressed various aspects of institutional performance, including governance and administration, quality assurance, efficiency of academic and administrative staff, learning, teaching and research, academic qualifications, student care and services, infrastructure and public safety, and marketing and student recruitment.
The accreditation is valid for two years, from September 14, 2026, to September 13, 2028, under accreditation number (AS91478/0926). This period was determined due to the inability to conduct a field visit given the current regional circumstances, provided that it will be extended to four years after the evaluation committee completes its anticipated visit to the university campus, according to the body's arrangements.
The President of the University, Professor Dr. Osama Nusier, affirmed that this accreditation represents an important milestone in the journey of Al al-Bayt University, and reflects the continuous efforts to develop its academic and administrative performance and consolidate a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
He added that the value of this achievement is embodied in building upon it to improve student experience, advance educational outcomes and scientific research, and enhance the university's presence and international partnerships.
Nusier expressed his thanks and appreciation to the academic and administrative staff and all employees in the faculties, deanships and departments, stressing that their cooperation, commitment and teamwork contributed to achieving this accomplishment, and that continuing development is a shared responsibility that the university is proud of the efforts of its members in carrying.
