Prof. Hani Al-Dmour, President of Al al-Bayt University, honored the university's distinguished researchers upon a celebration held by the Deanship of Academic Research. Al-Dmour addressed the honored researchers, saying that: “You are creating glory for our university and country. Your research contributions will raise the level of the university and place it on the ranking of the most distinguished international universities". He added that Al al-Bayt University is able to move forward with the vigor of all despite the challenges and difficulties confirming that strength lies in how to turn challenges into real opportunities. In addition, he stated that the university raised the scientific research incentives, improved the ranking of university's scientific journals, networked with international institutions, and participated in international projects to promote scientific research.
The Dean of Academic Research, Prof. Rida Al-Adamat indicated that the honored researchers published approximately 1,385 manuscripts in scientific journals indexed in Scopus databases compromising 72.78% of the total number of manuscripts published by the university' researchers. He added that the university, based on the president's guidelines, created the Distinguished Researcher Award and the Distinguished Master's Thesis Award to motivate positive competition between faculty members and graduate students to come up with distinguished theses.
