An info day at the Faculty of Law entitled Proof with Scientific Evidence in Criminal Matters


The Faculty of Law held an info day entitled “Proof with Scientific Evidence in Criminal Matters" in the Imam Muslim building where the Dean, Prof. Eid Ahmed Al-Husban, pointed out the most important achievements of the Faculty during the academic year 2021/2022 in terms of amending study plans of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, participating in the Legal Network for Arab Women to train (55) male and female students, and participating in three mock trials, in addition to shedding light on the extracurricular activities of the Faculty, where (4) four scientific seminars were held during the second semester 2021/2022.

Dr. Nasr Abu 'Alim spoke about the role of crime scene survey explaining how to protect the crime scene until the arrival of the competent authorities to survey it. Dr. Mutasim Mshasha shed light on the theory of penal proof by means of scientific evidence and how modern scientific evidence works to prove the crime; whereas, Dr. Qassem Al-Oun spoke about criminal proof through forensic medicine by the autopsy process and determining the cause of the crime.

At the end of the day, an extensive discussion took place between the faculty members, lawyers and those interested in this regard, during which questions and inquiries where answered.
