The Center for Consultation, Training and Capacity Building at Al al-Bayt organizes a workshop

Under the patronage of Prof. Bassam Al Mahasneh, Vice President for Quality and Planning, the Center for Consultation, Training and Capacity Building at the university held a workshop in cooperation with Queen Zain Al Sharaf Association for Social Development in partnership with the International Cooperation Foundation of the German Association for Adult Education on the needs of e-learning for adults, in the Imam Muslim building at the university.

Al-Mahasneh stressed that an approach to combat e-culture illiteracy was taken at Al al-Bayt University in addition to bridging the work of e-learning culture through the generalization of electronic uses in the fields of the university. He indicated that there is a need to master this science, especially that we have entered the twenty-first pointing out that the university opens its arms to the youth. He added that cooperation with local communities is among our priorities, and the transfer of civilization to societies raises the efficiency of young people in those societies.

Director of the Center for Consultation and Capacity Building, Dr. Mohammad Al-Shara'a, explained the importance of holding such workshops as it reflects positively on the development of local communities. He pointed out that this workshop will benefit the communities by obtaining the necessary support from donors to implement the outputs of this workshop, stressing that funding and training are among the new horizons to develop local communities in Mafraq and link them with the university body.

The Head of Queen Zain Al Sharaf Society, Dr. Areej Tleilan, introduced the center, how to educate young adults, the training mechanism, how this benefits them, and the services and programs provided through this workshop and the training that will accompany it, in addition to the efforts made by the Society over the past years with knowledge of these projects.

Director of the E-Learning Center at the university, Dr. Saif Rabaa'a, spoke about the center and the reality of e-learning. He also reviewed the university's achievements through the center in recent years, as well as the most important ambitions of the center, which are to improve the services it provides to network with local communities to spread the culture of e-learning.

Head of the Information Systems Department, Dr. Mohammad Al-Shara, stated that e-learning is not limited to the purposes of obtaining a university degree, but goes beyond the limits of that to training and employment towards sustainable development.

At the end of the workshop, which was attended by a number of university students and a member of Mafraq Municipal Council, Alia Orabi, Dr. Tleilan, honored Dr. Mahasneh with the society's shield. Then a discussion took place between the lecturers and attendees, during which the workshop was summarized and evaluated to come up with recommendations that will be implemented with the supporting bodies and donors for the project.
