Al al-Bayt University renews its scientific and academic cooperation with the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Ivory C

President of the University, Prof. Hani Al-Dmour, received a delegation of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Ivory Coast, headed by Dr. Awni Rjoub. The visit aimed to renew the cultural exchange agreement with the consulate and networking with the university.

Al-Dmour stressed that Al al-Bayt University, through its various faculties, is keen to develop and enhance academic work and research excellence. He pointed out that the university is moving forward to maintain its research and academic status and its keenness to organize such memoranda of understanding as well as agreements that would advance the research process and international academic cooperation.

Prof. Al-Dmour, stated that: “Al al-Bayt University is a national academic institution that is distinguished among its peers by providing educational, research and community services and seeking to deepen knowledge at the local, regional and global levels. It also seeks to keep pace with technological developments, follow modern trends of higher education and encourage scientific research in order to carry out applied and scientific research based on a participatory and cooperative approach with many local and international bodies".

Within the meeting, the agreement signed in 2019 between the two parties was renewed to achieve the following purposes: strengthen relations to raise the level of education and improve its outcomes, develop means of joint cooperation between the two parties to serve the educational process and scientific research in both Jordan and Ivory Coast, exchange academic visits between Al al-Bayt University and educational institutions in the Republic of Ivory Coast, encourage joint scientific research between the two parties in many scientific and applied fields, including religion sciences and the Arabic language in both countries, receive students from the Republic of Ivory Coast in various university majors, especially Arabic language programs and Islamic studies, carry out communication activities and use official electronic platforms and networks to achieve joint goals.

The signing of the memorandum of understanding was attended by the University President's Advisor for Quality and International Relations, Dr. Mansour Matarneh, the President Assistant for International Relations, Dr. Mohammad Al-Shara', the Director of the International Communication and Marketing Department, Dr. Atallah Al-Sarhan, and the director of the Public Relations and Media Department, Dr. Reem Al-Zoubi.
