A group of students from the College of Applied Earth and Environmental Sciences at Al al-Bayt University participated (virtually) in the Environmental Rhetoric Competition in its twenty-second session, held in the United Arab Emirates and organized by the Emirates Environmental Working Group, within the axis "Do water security and food security interrelate".

Participation took place under the supervision of Dr. Ibrahim Hamdan - Head of the Department of Earth Sciences and Applied Environment, as representatives of Jordanian universities and colleges out of only two universities in Jordan, with a paper entitled "Our Water and Food Towards Security or Lack". The jury expressed its admiration for the performance of the participants and the achievement of the objectives and conditions of the competition. The team included the following students:
