Al al-Bayt University participates in the Sixth International Scientific Conference - Language and Literature in the Era of Interdisciplinary Studies held in the Sultanate of Oman

Professor Dr. Muntaha Taha Al-Harahsheh, Vice Dean of the College of Graduate Studies at Al al-Bayt University and a member of the Scientific Committee, participated in the 6th International Scientific Conference titled: Language and Literature in Light of Interdisciplinary Studies, organized by the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at Sultan Qaboos University in the Sultanate of Oman, with the participation of a selection of scholars and researchers from various Arab and international universities.

Dr. Al-Harahsheh's participation included a distinguished and qualitative scientific research paper titled:

Transformations of Linguistic and Literary Discourse in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: An Interdisciplinary Study

In it, she reviewed the transformations of linguistic and literary discourse in light of the digital revolution and the generative artificial intelligence revolution, and the impact of intelligent algorithms on the structure, productivity, and reception of text, and the contemporary issues it raises related to originality, creativity, and intellectual property.

Dr. Al-Harahsheh presented an innovative interdisciplinary approach that combines computational linguistics, literary criticism, and cultural studies to understand the transformation in the roles of the creator, critic, and reader in the digital age, while providing a forward-looking vision for the role of Arabic language departments and graduate studies colleges in keeping pace with these transformations and employing them in developing curricula for education, scientific research, and graduate programs.

This study - as the researcher believes - is a qualitative addition to the Arabic library and contemporary interdisciplinary studies, as it opens new horizons for understanding the interactive relationship between language and technology, emphasizes the necessity of the linguistic and literary researcher's involvement in the issues of the digital age, and contributes to the development of modern critical approaches that accommodate rapid transformations, and lays foundations for future studies that enhance the presence of the Arabic language in the artificial intelligence space, and preserves its identity and creativity in the face of current technological challenges.

The research received great attention and rich scientific discussion from the participants due to its timely topic that concerns the future of humanities and linguistic studies, and reflects the presence of Al al-Bayt University and its leadership in keeping pace with contemporary issues.

This conference is part of Sultan Qaboos University's endeavor to promote interdisciplinary studies and open new horizons for linguistic and literary research in light of contemporary cognitive and technological changes.
